Product Manual
LG recommends washing machines with a drum capacity of 8–9 kg for the average household. Consider a larger model of 11–13 kg for larger families or if you do a lot of laundry.Larger models can also wash blankets up to king size. Remember, LG’s innovative technology allows our appliances to have more capacity for the same size washing machine.
Check the energy rating label on your washing machine, which ranges from A (best) to G (worst). Select LG washing machines have Triple A* energy, spin and noise ratings. In addition, LG washing machine AI helps you benefit from the most appropriate washing motion for your laundry load, thus minimizing energy consumption.
In general, you should check the care label and choose the right washing program for your clothes. LG washing machines with AI DD function weigh your clothes and detect their softness.
An obvious place to start is with an LG washing machine that has received a Triple A* rating for energy, spin and noise levels. The innovative LG DirectDrive™ motor technology reduces the number of moving parts inside your appliance, reducing noise generation (and extending its lifespan due to less wear and tear). When installing your washing machine, make sure it’s sitting on a level surface and inspect it regularly. An unbalanced machine can shift or jostle, causing noise to build up. Placing an anti-vibration pad underneath your washing machine can also help reduce noise levels.
LG’s Deep-learning AI DD™ washing machine uses intelligent technology to analyze the weight and fabric type of each garment. The result is automatic adjustment of washing motion by your washing machine. This results in better fabric protection, keeping your precious clothes looking their best for longer. The DirectDrive™ Motor delivers 6 Motion technology for efficient washing with fewer moving parts, resulting in a longer-lasting and more energy-efficient washer.
LG’s TurboWash™ 360˚ technology delivers a thorough clean in just 39 minutes with washing that adapts to your clothing needs. 3D Multi Spray.Sprays water from every angle while the Intelligent Inverter Pump controls the power of the water mist, combining them to achieve the optimal balance of water spray power, detergent and wash cycle movement
LG washing machines are engineered to optimize the wash motion for every load. AI-based deep learning gathered from thousands of washing events with big data allows the washing machine to automatically detect fabric characteristics such as weight and softness. The result is 10% better fabric protection*, keeping your clothes looking their best for longer. LG’s Wi-Fi-enabled smart washing machines can also be accessed and controlled via voice recognition or the LG ThinQ™ app on your smartphone, which connects to your smart washing machine wherever you are.Remotely start the washer with the tap of a button or using voice assistant control, receive notifications when your load is done, perform SmartDiagnosis troubleshooting, and download custom preset cycles — all through the ThinQ™ app.
LG’s proprietary Steam™ technology (selected models) effectively deals with allergens. The Allergy Care function applies steam to clothes at the beginning of the wash cycle to loosen fibers and dissolves various allergens including pollen and dust mites.
G ezDispense™ automatic detergent dispenser lets you pre-fill detergent into the dispenser and let the washer do its job. The technology detects the weight of the clothes and fills Automatically dispenses the right amount of detergent every time, eliminating the risk of overdoing it, saving you time and extending the life of your clothes.Adding the right amount of detergent also helps your front load washer perform at its best. The combined detergent and fabric softener compartments hold up to 35 doses of detergent – just close the door and press start!
